This was such a fun event to cover because there was so much going on! I was there for two hours filming but could have spent all day! Over 50 vendors were there selling and every one of them had their own unique story to tell.
Along with the vendors there was quite a crowd there! It was also newsworthy and it was fun to stand next to Channel 6 and 10 reporters filming the press conference with Governor Snyder.
There were so many angles to take with this story but I decided to talk about the event as a whole and talk about the farmers struggles this year. It was a difficult year for farmers because of the heat so I knew I wanted to mention their hardship.
I am looking forward to covering more farming and agriculture stories.
