I spoke with Jane Greenway from the Meridian Township parks department about the deer management program. Residents have been complaining for years about deer eating their landscape and causing car accidents, according to Greenway.

I had never heard of an actual deer management program before, so it was interesting that people are actually taking initiative against the problem. Since the deer problem has been increasing, Greenway said they are trying to increase the number of hunters and areas where deer are hunted.
Hunting season is not in right now, so coming up with b-roll to shoot was tough. I can’t stand in the woods waiting for deer to walk past my camera, so instead I got b-roll of websites, hunting signs and more.
