This past week, I was assigned to do a story on Emergency Loan Bills. I was unable to talk to the Legislature nor the Michigan Townships Association person. So I decided to focus closer to our Meridian Township.
This bill provides funding as loans to financially troubled communities to borrow money at a relatively low interest to get them through financial situations. 
Meridian Township Manager Gerald Richards said, “Meridian Township does not have those conditions so this legislation will not impact us.”
I was pretty challenged in understanding this bills so I wanted to thank him for explaining to me in a easier way.
