Fall is my favorite season. Fall has football, crisp temperatures and most importantly, changing leaves!
I did a story this week for Changing Seasons about Fall colors and leaf removal programs in Meridian Township. I spoke with LeRoy Harvey from the Recycling Center about the importance of compost and recycling leaves.
I was excited about doing this story because I knew there were many opportunities to be creative with my shots. Leaves provide an easy subject–they’re colorful, crunchy and blow easily in the wind, making them fun to shoot.
It was a crisp morning walking around Central Park capturing the changing colors of the season. I also noticed great opportunities to incorporate natural sound in my shots, such as the crunching of leaves when they are walked through.
This story was fun and allowed for a lot of creativity, so I enjoyed it overall.
