The Making of a Musical

This current promo in which I have literally just finished has been in the works for a while. As in the end of July. Needless to say, it’s been a long time coming and much tougher than I thought it would be. But in the end, I am extremely thrilled with my finished product. Bring it on, promos! Bring on the next!

And actually they already have “brought it on”. It’s elections season….still slash again, and Ballot Meridian needs more promotional spots promoting all the awesome election coverage we will be having throughout election season. That is much harder to manage than it sounds. Although these promos need to be thirty seconds or less, there are multiple debates and much information that needs to be proliferated for the masses.

But back to the internship promo that I have (finally) finished. It showcases what we do here at HOMTV as interns in a fun contemporary hit song originally sung by Ke$ha but eloquently preformed by our very own (now alum) Marissa High. I like to refer to the audio “As preformed by Marissa High and the HOMies”. Has a nice ring to it. Check out the video following the link on this post and let me know what you think!

HOMTV really does give it’s interns unrivaled hands on experience that you won’t find anywhere else. I have learned more here than I ever thought possible and stayed for a second semester because I knew I wasn’t done learning just quite yet.

Surf over to homtv.net to learn more about the HOMTV station and the internship program and be sure to apply by November 1st in order to be considered for a spring internship position.

The only thing left to say is, welcome HOM.

**UPDATE: Due to the excitement and many promos and programs HOMTV is bringing to Meridian Township citizens for this election 2012 season, this promo has currently been put on hold indefinitely…or hopefully at least until elections are done. Keep an eye out for another update on this project as I’m sure you’ll love the final product!
