Signs, signs, everywhere there’s signs.

I’m pretty sure that shooting B-roll is my favorite part of shooting a story. It’s not that I don’t like interviewing people, I’m just horrible at it. I’m glad that everyone I’ve had to interview so far has been really patient!

This week’s assignment was about the County and Land Bank recoup of $1.3 million from the tax foreclosed property auction on July 24. Most of the foreclosed homes were in Lansing, but there are a few in Meridian Township. I drove quite a way to get my shots, though!

This was a beautiful property with a private driveway leading up to it:

It was also down a gorgeous, scenic road:

I like pictures of roads. 🙂

I also had to interview someone, but the conference room was being used. So I set up the interview in the studio. Definitely an interesting experience. I adjusted the lights and set everything up myself. It took a lot longer than shooting on sight, but it turned out well!

Until next time,

Kelsey
