I can’t believe spring semester of my junior year is a week from being over….then, ugh I can’t even bring myself to say it, I’m a SENIOR at MSU !!!
Looking back I can say that this has been one of the craziest but most valued semesters in my time in college to date. From taking 16 credits, to working 3 nights a week as a bartender, being an active member in my sorority AND interning here at HOMTV my time management skills were definitely challenged. I feel so lucky to have been back for another semester to further my skills and career.
Not only did I get a chance to anchor Meridian News Now several times, I also worked on improving my on-air voice/appearance and package skills.
Here I am going live at the MSU Race for the Place 5K (Thanks to our intern Qing for being my photog)
And below is Brett & I filling in as anchors for Aaron & Amanda. Needless to say we were running around with our heads cut off up until the last 30 seconds(like a real newsroom lol) but we pulled it off!
I am so thankful for everything I’ve learned, the people I’ve met and the experiences I’ve had here at HOMTV. I’m looking forward to see what the summer and senior year has in store! GO GREEN ❤
